8/24/2013 7:59:00 PM - Since most professional reviews of this 2006 wine suggest that it should have been drunk by 2011, I was giving it the benefit of the doubt that it might(hopefully) get better.
8/24/2013 8:37:00 PM - Fair enough, but I think it just points out how wrong professional reviews can be :) Over the years I've drunk far more red wines too soon than too late. Also, too often the last glass is the best, as the wine--Which I should have opened much earlier and/or decanted--has had time to open up. it will be interesting to see what the Cliff Creek is like in a few years. The bottle we had was quite good, and promised to get better.
