Dobbs definitely made this wine to age. Smoked meaty notes, anise, dried cherries and dehydrated fruit. Structure will last longer than the aromatics. Tannins have polymerized beautifully and the acid has not shown much sign of aging.
Wine needs to be decanted for an hour or two at least. Really shy right out of the bottle.
