Monday, May 27, 2013 - OK, I'm biased and I love vintage Port but this was a rare treat! Medium to dark purple/red colour with wonderful sweet fruitcake, damson plum, orange marmalade, road tar and black fig tones. Very soft, but HUGE mouthfeel with almost fully resolved tannins, great acidity and amazing lush finish and length, this is one for the ages. Three days later, this is still a spectacular wine, showing no signs of age. Bow now, for we are not worthy! It's hard to imagine it getting a whole lot better, but there are no signs of this letting up, so if you have more than one bottle, definitely enjoy one now.
