Monday, October 13, 2014 - Pretty nose of crushed berries and violets. Medium bodied with medium acidity. Ripe black cherry fruit but not overripe, lush or creamy, like some '09s. Fruit driven but with hints of black rock and iron. Some tannins evident, will likely benefit from 5+ years in the cellar but very drinkable now.
