Wednesday, July 1, 2015 - I don't know why it's so hard to give this wine 100 points. I can surely say that this is an exceptional Brunello. Medium garnet color. Medium (+) nose with a whole lot going on - notes of chocolate, dried plum, leather, vanilla, cloves. Dry, medium acidity and tannins, pronounced flavor intensity, long finish and fabulous balance with just the right amount of alcohol. Opened it at the right time and paired it with a juicy steak. Perfection.
