Saturday, September 12, 2009 - Enjoyable but a little disappointing. Nice acidity, so the balance is more or less fine, but the long, ample fruit is a shade too ripe and monolithic, and the oak influence a bit heavy. Not a shy wine and one that demands robust food. I can't quite deem it "elegant," as others have.
