Friday, May 15, 2009 - Some definite progress made since last tasted in 2005. Now focused rather than tight. Exhibits a lengthy tasting progression, with baking chocolate, blackberry and menthol notes. Substantial tannins slice through a ribeye steak beautifully. Probably still at least 2-3 years away from peaking.
