Sunday, June 5, 2005 - Decanted for 12 hours and it was still tight as a drum. Probably needed at least another 12 hours. Searing tannins are dominating the powerful and intense fruit. An impenetrable young mountain cab right now. Tasted pretty good with a ribeye, though. Will hold my other bottles at least 2-3 years before opening.
