Tuesday, September 25, 2007 - A massive but civilized Cabernet - deep, pitched aromas of dark berries, cassis, licorice and spice. The midpalate packed a punch with the flavors in the aromas, accompanied by a tannic wall on the finish. A dark brooding wine that was accessible and delicious with about 1 hour of decanting. Hold for several years or enjoy now with 1-2 hours of air.
