Saturday, February 28, 2015 - Decanted 3 hours. Purple/black right to the very thin, clear rim. Gamey smoked meat, roasted sage and deep black fruit on the nose. Silky smooth on entry with layers of deep, dark flavors that include game, licorice and black fruit liqueur. Polished, sweetly fruited and powerful, this has all the parts working well together. Drinking well now and should continue to impress through 2020.
