COLOR: Medium.

NOSE: Pyrazine. Not much else.

Medium acidity. Very little tannins. Some residual sugar. Not a great finish. Pazzz

NOTE: During the casual tasting afterwards I tasted several more reds and isolated a menthol/eucalyptus tone in almost all of them. I cannot recall whether this wine had them, because I was not looking for it at the time. I believe this is a common tone in South African wines.
