Friday, May 24, 2013 - Very satisfying mostly Shiraz blend. Strong and stood up to overly-spiced carne adovada (New Mexican dish). Better than medium finish, but strong cherry and other fruit with lots of earthy/woody tastes. What is amazing is that even at 15% alc, it still had a lot of finesse and would have been a great sipping red, or with tapas. Highly recommend as it is under $20. Agree that the blend gives it more texture and structure than a pure 100% Shiraz.
