Saturday, February 9, 2013 - PNP, without food. Initial aroma was very jammy red berry, almost like a central coast Pinot, and a little hot. Later some dark berry, cedar and caramel peeked through. The taste is dark fruit, spice. Initially a nice noticeable tannin level and very well rounded, but that didn't last long. It wound up with an acidic finish, and a little hot and thin. Guess I should have drunk it faster....But very drinkable and good QPR.
