Sunday, January 22, 2006 - Had this after a bottle of merlot which paired nicly with the prime rib and spicy suace. This wine was a dramatic difference from the merlot. This syrah seemed bigger than in my previous tasting, lots of tannin. I had to unscrew my tongue out of the top of my mouth after the first sip, but after that it quite enjoyable with a long finish. in a couple of years this will really be a good wine.
