Friday, November 25, 2005 - In the mood for Tempier - and after first two surprisingly disappointing bottles ('91 Cabassaou and '95 Migoua [see TNs]) - I pulled out this '93, as I thought it would do the trick... Although the nose was somewhat reluctant at first, with aromas of smoke and spices, with an hour or so of air, it began to reveal more fruit and perfume. After two+ hours it was showing so much more than when first opened. In the mouth it was firmly structured, though still generous in its texture. I would guess that this will be even better in a few more years. Quite impressive.
