Sunday, November 22, 2020 - Tasting extremely good right now !! The cork was nearly perfect after a decade in the bottle. This balanced Pinot Noir was consumed over three days. Deep ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of red raspberry and pomegranate, flavors of red fruit compote, rhubarb, and marine soil with a hint of forest floorl and a medium finish. Popped and poured, but this wine really benefited from gentle oxygen since it was much more soft and integrated on day two and had not fallen apart by day three. Great fruit made into a very balanced Pinot Noir from Ferrington Vineyard in the Anderson Valley appellation. This Pinot Noir is an age worthy wine and may have many more years of life left. I still have two more bottles of this vintage remaining; I may open one of them within 6 months or so to verify my rating.
