That being said, this wine is dark through and through. Immediately with cola and dark black fruit with a tinge of clove. Big on the palate for a Pinot with a long finish and soft tannins. Personally, I like my Pinots a bit more on the lighter side with bright fruit and a bit more acid. Though not in my wheelhouse, this is a nice wine and a good occasional change from the Pinots I usually drink.
