Monday, February 20, 2012 - Nice stuff from McMinville. This wine always has a much deeper purple tinge than the other offerings. High-toned floral nose with lots of rich raspberry, black tea, and maduro tobacco. Very spicy palate with peppercorn, tobacco, and wet stone with ample dark fruit to support. Finishes with an elegant texture.
