Tuesday, January 1, 2013 - Inky purple color that coats the glass. Easily the darkest cab I’ve ever had. Huge black cherry and spice nose. Extremely tannic and hot as expected. Black fruit, Asian spice, and oak on the palate. Loads of upward potential. Decanted 3 hours and had with prime rib.
