Tuesday, July 28, 2015 - Light purple. Cigar tobacco, licorice, strawberry and mineral on the nose . Drank over two hours. Black raspberry, sage, grilled meat, nicely done acidity, elegant but flavorable. Drinking well now, but should continue to do well for years to come. Drank with pasta and a red sauce. Held up to the food as well as Italian wines. Ridge consistently makes good Zins.
