Tuesday, March 21, 2023 - What a pleasant time to drink this wine. It's right in the sweet spot of evolution for me. On the nose, it's mostly tertiary with dead leaves and fresh blackcurrant leaves but as it gets some air the blackcurrant fruit is also coming out. On the palate this is still very lively with plenty of fruit, nice acidity and fine tanins that still grip. Not huge, but rather medium bodied and calling for food. Lovely time with this bottle.
