Sunday, February 19, 2012 - Stunning nose: gorgeous fruit sprung out of the decanter as I poured this, and this continued in the glass with strawberry fruit, earth and complex secondary aromas, continuing in the mid-weight, gentle and soft mid-palate where everything is in balance. This is not the most powerful or the longest wine but it is absolutely lovely. The character is very Pommard, with an increasingly preponderance of mineral/earthy tones as it evolved. Which was not for very long.
