Friday, March 29, 2013 - Served during a tasting. Did well in the group, second place after the Clos des Papes 2010. Very complex nose of truffle, cloves and earthy tones. On the palate very elegant but a bit dry with racy acidity. A bit more fruit would lead to a higher note. Not bad but there are better Chave Hermitages I have tasted.
