Friday, August 30, 2013 - Coravin'd and tasted over the next hour or so. Medium to light colored. Reticent nose of tart cherry, Asian spices and pit fruit skin. So fresh and lively on the palate it is hard to believe this is a 1999. Primary and unyielding but not at all austere, this begs for another 10 years of so. Back in cellar to be tasted again at a much later date. 2023 to 2033.
