Friday, May 15, 2015 - Purple with a core that light cannot pass through. Ripe nose with a gravel base. Smoky.Cafe au lait.
Ripe cherries. Blueberries.Blackcurrant. You can see the black-red lobules of blackberry.Fresh sweet tobacco. Full bodied. Great length. Elegant. Plenty of grippy tannins without any harshness or bitterness. Absolutely delicious. Can't stop drinking this wine. Riedel bordeaux glasses 14-16 degrees aired for 1 hour -seems to be the right settings for this wine. Completely satisfying now.
