Thursday, January 8, 2015 - A gorgeous bottle of wine and easily the best Bordeaux I've had in recent memory. Surprisingly mature notes of blood orange drive the profile, with supple tannins and an acid profile that drags the finish out in a highly satisfying manner. This is an exotic wine to start, but when the barrel notes kick in it becomes irresistible in both aroma and flavor, satisfying both the thinker and the hedonist.
