The wine is showing a little age in the glass, a tad of brick especially around the miniscus. The nose is mild with notes of red fruit. This review is on 3 day old wine. The fruit is still lively. Strawberry, cherry complemented with hints of pepper. The tannins are still there which, along with the acidity, provide a great swig of wine. The finish is moderate with some of the acidity providing the support. I noted in 2012 that the wine may have the chops to last a few more years, and I am proud to report I was spot on.
