Laocoon was a Trojan priest who suggested the Trojans burn the horse - serpents rose from the sea near Troy and consumed Laocoon and his sons after he did so. Amazing ancient sculpture of a strong Laocoon struggling, unsuccessfully, against the serpents. The dramatic and classical character of the wine with its tensile strength reminded me of it. A bit esoteric, but there you have it. That’s where my mind went.
