Saturday, April 27, 2024 - No sediment, dark purple-red. Nose reticent at first but the palate is ready to go. Typical Pauillac profile along with mint, iodine and saline right out of the bottle. Good length and interesting finish. This wine is quite ready to go without decanting - it's intense, rich, with a sense of freshness and youth best paired with something flavorful. Tannins did not assert themselves, so my guess is it's at peak now and ideal to drink over the next few years.
