Friday, January 18, 2013 - 2010 Bordeaux at 2012 Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux Tasting (Palace Hotel, San Francisco, California): Very dark red violet color; pencil lead, cedar, tart black fruit nose; tasty, poised, elegant, tart black fruit, tart black currant, cedar, pencil lead palate with good acidity; medium-plus finish 93+ points (77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc; 60% new)
