Saturday, October 12, 2013 - Really dark in colour. Very nice nose: smoke, wood, tobacco and lush fruit. Ripe red fruit, cherries on the palate, firm and slightly drying tannins. Quite acidic and slightly green towards the persistent finish, really fresh but not overly complex and a little lean, austere, not very generous. I guess this will get better with a bit more bottle age, but I am a bit worried about the finish.
