Thursday, August 25, 2016 - Surprisingly good for a poorly rated wine whose drink by date was 2013. On popping the cork, tasted a bit like stringent cherry syrup. Didn't appear to be too appetizing. But after about two hours became a full bodied multilayered black-blue-red fruit wine that still had some (maybe a bit more than desired) acid but was enjoyable. Good finish. Don't usually type this much but surprisingly good and quite inexpensive. Have two more bottles so will see if attitude changes.
