Saturday, September 19, 2020 - Much better than the last bottle I tried. This time I decanted for several hours and, more importantly, adjusted my attitude: older bottle, decent but not perfect cellaring, okay vintage. I was rewarded with a graceful, still healthy if not robust, totally enjoyable mountain cab. All kinds of lovely secondary notes emerging, like cedar, leather, and graphite. Tiny, grainy tannins. My friend -- who is used to big young Napa fruit bombs -- adored it and bogarted three quarters of the bottle.
