Thursday, August 4, 2011 - Light golden color. Really interesting nose with some petrol, honey, apple and vanilla coming through. The vanilla was actually pretty pronounced on the palate as well along with some sweet spices and honey. I rarely get vanilla notes in riesling so this was a very interesting wine to me. Acid was a bit low for me with more of a creamy palate than a vibrant one.
