Wednesday, June 1, 2011 - Once again I saw in hindsight that even a relatively young Insignia needs to be decanted. The entire time we were enjoying this wine, and we were indeed, I felt it was asleep because I know there is bigger prettier fruit in there some where, but it was not coming forward this night. Again, we pulled the cork and poured, so I know it was not given the chance to stir and come to life. The last couple of sips were showing nice though so I know it should have been decanted and left alone for an hour.
