Wednesday, September 21, 2011 - Well-aged and quite smooth with deep cassis and blackberry flavors but this tasted too jammy next to an '88 Beringer Reserve which was fresher and more delineated. Extremely ripe fruit with an alcoholic edge. Ultimately disappointing.
