Saturday, October 14, 2006 - Blind Birthday Tasting (Win's House - Texas): Upon initial opening, amazing aromas of blueberries and raspberries with a bit of oak. Background of some pine and eucalyptus, coupled with solid tannins. After two hours, wine started to show very well—opened at the same time as a 2001 Château Latour—the Latour, at the two hour point was still more complex overall. Corked, and served 8 hours after opening—still showing very well. (Mustangs)
