Like the first one (about 3 years ago), it was one of my favorites among a strong lineup of over 4 dozen wines over the long weekend. Still a dark, opaque wine, aromas of cocoa powder, baked plums, and leather waft from the glass. On the palate is a rich, thick wine with fully integrated tannins. Not as much acidity as I remember previously, but still excellent regardless. From a magnum.
