Tuesday, September 12, 2017 - Opened for wife's 50th birthday party. Nose was quiet at first. Decanted twice. Tasted after second decant and was stunned at ripeness, complexity and shear audacity of the wine. After 20 years it was amazing. Nose opened up and released black cherry, leather, currants...a cornucopia of scents...It's been cellared correctly for its life and the other 2 I have will last at least another 10-20 years. If you have two, open one to enjoy. It's truly great. If you have one, find another. It's that good.
