Monday, April 3, 2023 - 2 hour decant in glass. Opaque purple w/ ruby edge in color. Nose of blackberry, stewed plum, espresso and tomato soup. On the palate: blackberries, espresso, glints of five spice powder and a beam of graphite. Tannins are silky smooth, perceived on gums. Long, lovely finish of blackberries and graphite. Was a superlative pair with board steak and boursin mashed potatoes.
