Monday, October 22, 2018 - Interesting nose of vanilla, minerals, cedar and dark red fruits. Quite silky and fine on the palate with a deep core of black cherry fruit and wonderful earth and mineral notes. Full but not overripe with good acidity and freshness which leads to a refined finish with notes of cedar spice and snappy licorice. Still very young but very much a crowd-pleaser and a much different (and better) style than old vintages of this wine which I find over-acidified. Tasted with Dalmau who owns the place. 93+
