Friday, December 31, 2010 - Velvety smooth and still lots of fruit in this wine. Cranberry, plum, and cedar notes, plus a hint of kirsch on the first few tastes. Tannins have softened very nicely. Beginning to have a garnet color but was still showing a dark ruby presence. Not much improvement after about 30-45 minutes, but this Insignia did not fade either. Drink sooner than later. Not too sure if this will get any better with several more years of age.
