Saturday, August 23, 2008 - Decanted 3 hours prior to consumption. Deep ruby color leads to a mildly muted nose of blackberry, chocolate and currant. More currant, dark cherry, currant, chocolate and cedar carry into medium to full bodied palate. A hint of cedar and sage are also present. Finish is fully integrated and lasts 40 seconds. A very good bottle wine just entering its prime drinking window.
