Tuesday, February 9, 2016 - I was not disappointed though I wasn't blown away either. I poured into a decanter for 1 1/2 hours before drinking. Though I tried a taste before a full decant and found the tannins were very strong. After decant and serving with strip streak this was a very enjoyable, full bodied cab. Strong, dark fruit compote, cassis, hints of vanilla. Nice finish, medium to long. A little tar and licorice on the finish. All in all an above average wine though still not making my top five.....
