Monday, January 4, 2021 - Starting to be in it's prime. Very structured wine with refine balance for tannins, fruit, bitterness and low acidity. Cigar box, cocoa, forest floor, mushrooms, walnuts, licorice, and plum on the palate. Really exceptional second wine like Pagodes De Cos and Le Marquis de Calon Segur. Decanted and was ready to pour within 30mins. Paired beautifully with venison and lamb.
