Sunday, September 6, 2009 - I am somewhat inexperienced when it comes to Burgundy (I tend to drink Bordeaux); nevertheless, the quality of this wine was easy to discern. In looking at some previous TNs, I agree with Richard Jennings's comments, although I smelled no chlorine. Very nicely made wine -- tannins sufficiently present to complement the fruit and other flavors. Just a delicious bottle. I have one more, and I think I will drink it in the near term -- with a roast of some kind this winter. It's drinking very well now, and from many reports, the shelf life of Burgundy is not as long as it is for other wines, particularly in comparison to Bordeaux.
