Thursday, February 5, 2015 - Served blind; was easily identifiable by the lovely briary, dirty southern French grape with a very New World level of extraction and heat. I generally like the Cline VV bottlings a lot but this vintage seemed kind of disjointed to me. Gained smoothness with time in the glass though, and after an hour turned out to be pleasant if not super distinctive.
