Monday, August 18, 2014 - This was only about $12 so lets make that clear before we start talking about the wine. Dark red to plum with tawny hints, the nose shows oak and soft cassis, plus pencil shavings perhaps. Not terribly complex. The palate is soft and round, with cassis and plums replaced after some time in the decanter with some sweeter red fruits. Quaffable but lacks the acid and drive for any further development. If you have any, drink now! Decent QPR.
