Monday, January 18, 2016 - No brown edges but seems to be at the peak of its enjoyable age. Needs a quick decant or a few minutes in the glass to lose the alcohol. What's left is a rather leathery, terroir driven pinot. On the palate it bears similarity to carneros with less raspberry fruit. It has a nice acidic presence to cover a slight bitterness in the mid-palate. Balanced on the whole and here's the kicker.. I found this for $3.97 on closeout at my local wine store - what!?!
