Tuesday, October 14, 2014 - Same bottle as dzop, but from Day 2's leftovers. Meaty, dark, powerful, slightly root beery fruit, but its neither sweet nor glossy and has good acidity. It's a very RRV fruit profile and it works well as a restrained version of that idiom but I'm not a big fan of RRV pinot in general. More balanced and miles better than a recent Marcassin.
